Ugly CSA

Each year, millions of pounds of fruits and vegetables are thrown away because they're deemed too unattractive to sell, which means the water and labor that went into growing the food was wasted. This farm share puts ugly-but-delicious produce in the spotlight and Pittsburghers have embraced it.

For this project, I designed a poster series and packaging. I created a geometric typeface and used gradients to invoke the texture of fruits and vegetables.
